Profile George became the founding owner of the second expansion franchise in UFFL history June 13, 2009, when N2deep was added as the league's 14th team. A good friend of Football Gal owner Mozelle Meyers, Thomas was a frequent participant in UFFL-sponsored pro football pickem contests, survival football leagues and NFL postseason contests for many years, along with seasonal games for other fantasy sports. George also ran his own fantasy football league (the Hit-Em League) on ESPN Fantasy Sports and Fleaflicker Fantasy Sports for several seasons, before eventually deciding to fold the league. In 2012, he lost to The Steel Curtain in UFFL Bowl XI, after rolling off eight consecutive victories to reach the championship round. In 2015, Thomas tied Mark Bender for the league lead in regular-season victories (10), before going on to win his first league championship. N2deep narrowly defeated Renegade in UFFL Bowl XIV, 123.56 to 121.85. His team remained competitive over the following two seasons, although they were unable to come close to duplicating their playoff success from 2015. Unfortunately, George passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer in December 2017. The Ultimate Fantasy Football League sends our condolences to friends and relatives.
